Description
Created a web mapping application developed in Angular that uses a hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online and the ArcGIS JavaScript API to create web map components and tools. This project was developed as a way to provide indicators covering different categories such as demographic, economic and education variables to show how different areas in the region are changing over time.
The areas shown are Census Tracts covering the 14 county region supported by UNC Charlotte’s Urban Institute. The vision is that this tool can be used by the community, researchers and decision makers to study the growth of the region.. Analysis tools are included to study the correlation between two indicators and Moran's I to study spatial clustering.
